This archive package contains a Virtual Box™ image and the Opera TV Emulator .vbox file. The Opera TV Emulator works as a virtual machine on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The emulator allows developers to test TV applications in an environment which replicates that of a connected TV. This helps to ensure compatibility and suitability for use with the Opera engine for TV. Further reading:

Sample TV applications can be found in the Examples directory in this package. To see how the sample applications work using the Opera
TV Emulator, either save the application files on a
server and provide a URL for index.html, or share the
files with VM and open it in Opera TV Emulator
(file://localhost/mydata/.../index.html). For
instructions on how to do this, please read the sharing
folders section of the user guide. |
